Hosting

This website is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner. We do not use a content delivery network.

Server log files

When you open the website, the server processes technical data: IP address, date and time, requested URL and the browser’s user agent. We process this data to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted after 14 days.

Quote requests

If you send a request through the form, through the MCP access for AI assistants or by phone, we process your details (company, name, email, country, VAT ID if given, parts, message, and the content of the call) to prepare and send a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We pass data to our supplier only as far as needed to fulfil an order. We store the data until the end of the business relationship and afterwards for as long as statutory retention periods require.

A notification service used for new requests receives only a request ID, without personal data.

If you use an AI assistant, its provider processes your input under its own privacy policy. We receive only what the assistant sends to our interface.

Cookies, tracking and external resources

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics tools, loads no external fonts or other third party resources and uses no content delivery network. We serve fonts and stylesheets ourselves. A consent banner is therefore not needed.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). To exercise your rights, write to info@maikengler.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (www.lfd.niedersachsen.de).
